Thanks to my very artistically talented grandmother, I inherited a love of drawing and all things art-related.  I've been drawing ever since I can remember, and grew up with a great love of Saturday morning cartoons and animated shows.   (Seriously, I watched Tom and Jerry so many times,  I could actually date the cartoons based on the episode).   I continued illustrating through college, and even had my own award-winning cartoon strip in a couple of college newspapers.   

After graduating from the University of West Florida, I began my career as an illustrator, and soon transitioned into the field of 3D animation.  Now with over 16 years experience in 3D and Flash animation, 3D modeling, graphic design, and illustration, I have worked in the fields of e-Learning, company branding, broadcast television, advertising, short films, user interface for iPhone applications and websites, book illustration, product design, cartooning, and government related projects.

I've won two Emmy Awards for my 3D animation work on Georgia Public Television’s "Salsa" children's series, and a Telly Award.  I've also received multiple industry awards for my 3D animated short film, "Bug-Beat."
  
I also enjoy wood carving, studying history, relic hunting for Civil War artifacts and arrowheads, and spending time with my family.
